About the Initiative
Communities Lifting Communities (CLC) and the Hospital Association of Southern California (HASC) invite members to learn about the Regional Hospital Supplier Diversity Initiative. Launched July 1, the program will help hospitals in LA County ensure their procurement practices include diverse suppliers and reduce barriers faced by diverse-owned businesses.
CLC and HASC will hold an information webinar Wednesday, July 20, to introduce their first key partner in advancing supplier diversity priorities.
Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement
The Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (RAMP) centralizes sourcing opportunities into one easy-to-use tool. RAMP will provide hospitals and health systems exclusive access to a larger, more diverse pool of vendors, which will help organizations meet AB 962 reporting requirements.
Hospitals that join RAMP will receive a free one-year license to use the platform. Space is limited — CLC and HASC only have 50 licenses for this year. Please register for our July 20 information session, which will include an overview of the RAMP database.
RAMP allows hospitals to post procurement opportunities. The platform also includes a database of vendors certified as Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE), Women Business Enterprises (DBE) and LGBT Business Enterprises (LGBTBE).
More information about RAMP is available on the program website, including a Partner Interest form for interested organizations, or by email. For questions about the Regional Hospital Supplier Diversity Initiative or the webinar, please contact Vetannie Morton (information below).
