HASC, in partnership with the Alliance for SoCal Innovation, invites member CEOs to join the recently created Health Systems Innovation Leadership Council.
The Council held its inaugural meeting October 30, 2024, at the Cedars-Sinai Healthcare Accelerator. Based on the enthusiastic response, the Council has scheduled quarterly meetings for 2025 and looks forward to seeing you at the Q1 2025 meeting, March 20, at Keck Hospital of USC.
Please note that for security reasons, RSVPs are required to ensure access to the campus.
The Council was created to help:
• Accelerate the identification and deployment of innovative solutions that can improve patient outcomes while managing costs
• Build a more connected and collaborative community of health system innovation leaders who can share best practices
• Showcase breakthrough technologies that speed deployment while supporting the growth of the regional innovation economy
The March 20 meeting will feature a panel titled “Selecting High Value New Technologies and piloting them in a heavily regulated/controlled environment.” We’ll discuss how health systems prioritize what technologies to pilot, how they evaluate them in a meaningful way given constraints and how they’re propagated across the system.
Carey Ransom, managing partner at BankTech Ventures, will give the opening presentation, “Building a Shared New Ventures Capability for Industry Players.” A panel moderated by Austin Gispanski, managing partner of BCGX, will follow, featuring Caris Life Sciences, Nicolette and Keck Hospital of USC. Panelists will each explain their perspectives and learning, followed by an open group discussion.
If you’re interested in joining the Council and/or the March 20 meeting, please RSVP by March 13 with the following information:
