As a membership organization, HASC depends on its members’ dedication and commitment to ensure the vitality of association programs. Hospital leaders join the HASC Board of Directors and committees to network, build partnerships and take action on issues affecting hospitals and communities. Issues include emergency services, health information exchange, behavioral health, indigent care and many more. HASC committees unite leaders who are working to improve the operating environment for hospitals and the health status of communities.

Nursing Advisory Council
As a thought leader on the future of nursing, the NAC provides strategic solutions applicable across the continuum of care. This council serves as an advocate, resource and guidepost for the changes needed to sustain health care’s economic viability, productivity, and positive outcomes for our society.
Association committees address key concerns in health care. They oversee particular projects, review professional and organizational issues, and recommend courses of action that are essential to our collective success.
Regional committees are central to HASC’s mission and vision. Meetings throughout the year unite representatives from local hospitals and other health care organizations with HASC’s regional vice presidents. Together, they provide a critical voice for area members, strengthen statewide advocacy and address local health concerns.
