Southern California Wildfire Resources

The Palisades and Eaton fires that ravaged Southern California in Jan. 2025 rank among the costliest and deadliest in U.S. history. Together, they claimed at least 29 lives and destroyed over 16,000 structures, with losses estimated to exceed $250 billion. The Palisades Fire alone scorched more than 23,000 acres, leveling 6,837 homes, businesses and other buildings.

The Palisades and Eaton fires blindsided residents, razed entire communities and strained the local health care system. During the fires, HASC posted this page to house emergency alerts and resources for our hospital members. With the crisis now past, the page will include recovery and preparedness resources for hospitals and those who lost homes or businesses.

HASC continues to work with public and emergency agencies to address our member hospitals’ needs. We stand ready to support you however we can. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can assist in any way.
