#ThisIsOurShot — to Boost Vaccine Trust

The more quickly a majority of people receive their vaccines, the sooner life in California and the U.S. will feel normal — with an open economy and kids in school.

#ThisIsOurShot is the No. 1 digital vaccine trust-building campaign in the country, engaging more than 25,000 health care heroes and generating more than 250 million digital impressions since December. This week, HASC, CHA and California’s health care community add their voices to the drive — joining more than two dozen major health care organizations working to build vaccine confidence and fight back against misinformation about COVID vaccines.

HASC invites you to add your voice to the campaign. Doing so is easy — we provide the content. All you need to do is add it to your existing social media platforms.

A toolkit with instructions and content is available here and below. The #ThisIsOurShot website provides more information here.

“We don’t just need to vaccinate patients,” explained Dr. Alex McDonald, a #ThisIsOurShot cofounder. “We need to inoculate against misinformation that reduces trust in the vaccine and discourages patients from receiving it when they’re eligible.”

McDonald is a Fontana-based Kaiser Permanente physician and instructor at the Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine.
