Survey Data Supports Effective Hiring and Retention

Attracting and retaining talented employees is a challenge at any time, and the disruption of the pandemic underscores the importance of staying up to date on compensation and human resources trends. To assist hospitals in making informed and strategic hiring decisions, HASC members are asked to enroll in the 2022 Allied for Health (AFH) Survey Program through the Salarity.org site by Friday, April 1, 2022.

The AFH survey program offers the most comprehensive compensation and other key human resources benchmark survey reports in California. With over 350 participating hospitals across the state, the AFH survey program features the following survey reports:

  • Executive Compensation
  • Management Compensation
  • Non-Management Compensation
  • Employee Benefits
  • Labor Union Penetration
  • Hot Jobs

Timely program enrollment allows HASC staff to set up each participants’ 2021 access to the password-protected area of the site and confirm participant contact information. To view the complete survey calendar, please click here: Download AFH Survey Calendar

Participating hospitals are eligible to access the reports at no charge, with the exception of the Hot Jobs Survey and HR Metrics surveys. Non-participant hospitals who wish to access the final reports will be assessed a fee. If your hospital has not participated in the past, act now to take advantage of this member benefit.

HASC partners with FutureSense, LLC, a regional consulting firm that has more than 30 years of experience with the Allied for Health Surveys.

The Allied for Health survey program includes the California Hospital Association, the Hospital Association of Southern California, the Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, and the Hospital Association of San Diego and Imperial Counties.
