MCAG Settlement Opportunities and Important Updates

MCAG, an Endorsed Business Partner, continues to monitor settlement opportunities, claims activity and distributions on behalf of HASC members. Here are the latest opportunities, payment updates, and important reminders.

Current Settlement Opportunities

The following currently available settlement opportunities may provide meaningful recoveries for eligible organizations:

•           Generic Pharmaceuticals Pricing Litigation | $533 million fund | Deadline: Nov. 9, 2026

•           Third-party Payor Opioid Settlement | $180 million fund | Deadline: Dec. 1, 2026

Settlement and Payment Updates

BCBS Subscriber Settlement: MCAG is currently reconciling payment information in preparation for upcoming distributions. Please watch for additional payment communications from MCAG.

Discover Merchant Settlement: Some clients may need to provide a current W-9 and/or Authorization Form. MCAG will contact affected organizations directly if additional information is required.

Acute Care Hospital Opioids Settlement – Round 2: MCAG continues to prepare for payouts. W-9s, invoicing or other information may be required before payments can be processed. MCAG will contact affected organizations directly.
