HASC is seeking member hospitals to host in-person sessions of the Charge Nurse Leadership Development course. The advanced one-day course is targeted to registered nurses in management roles.
Many HASC hospital nurses have found the one-day program valuable. Students learn best practices for assessing patient care needs and how to match them with staff abilities, steps in addressing conflict, the importance of managing relationships and other key insights. Attendees learn from one another, practice new skills in group activities and gain practical tools to apply in their work.
What’s in it for hospitals as host sites?
- Receive one seat free of charge and discounted tuition for the next five registrants from your team
- Attendees receive 8 BRN continuing education credits
- Benefit from upskilling your nursing staff and potentially improving morale, retention, and patient care and satisfaction
Led in partnership with Flex Ed, the course can be open to other HASC members or held privately for your organization. For private sessions, Flex Ed will work with your team to customize the content to your preference and the number of team members attending.
