We’ve seen a 26 percent decline in hospitalized COVID-19 patients across the HASC region in the last 14 days, but the ongoing workforce shortage still limits relief for our weary caregivers.


HASC Recognized With Prestigious Eddy Award

HASC has received a top regional honor as part of the 26th Annual Eddy Awards® administered by the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation, or LAEDC.

HASC will be honored in the Corporate Honoree category at an event running from 5:30 – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. HASC President/CEO George W. Greene is scheduled to attend.

Past honorees include Cedars-Sinai, Honda, Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles World Airports, Caltech and SpaceX.

Bittman to Headline May’s Annual Meeting

HASC is moving forward with its 2022 Annual Meeting planning — with Barry Bittman, MD (above) confirmed as opening speaker. 

Bittman is a neurologist, and chief population health officer for the Inland Empire Foundation for Medical Care, as well as CEO at the Yamaha Music and Wellness Institute.
