OC Employers Wanted for June 1 Virtual Student Career Fair

The Orange County Workforce Development Board, in conjunction with the Orange County Regional Consortium, is seeking partners and support for the OC High School and College Student Career Fair. This virtual event will take place Wednesday, June 1, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Virtual Career Fair will be open to the public and promoted through media outlets; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media; and direct outreach to job seekers. These efforts aim to ensure attendance by a diverse group of job seekers with a variety of skill levels and backgrounds.

The Virtual Career Fair is designed for employers to recruit recent graduates and current students for paid employment opportunities while providing a platform for educational and community resource organizations to showcase their offerings.

While there is no cost to participate in the Virtual Career Fair, hospitals are asked to commit to the following:

  • Promote the career fair using your social media platforms
  • Allow the use of your logo on all Career Fair related materials
  • Complete a post-event employer survey
  • Recruit to fill at least one paid full-time or part-time position within your organization

Third-party recruiters are not permitted to participate unless they are recruiting for their own organization and not for clients.

Please note that there is no cost for other businesses and attendees that you refer to participate in this event. If you are interested in participating, please contact Rhonda Miller (information below). You will be asked to provide your logo in a high-resolution .eps, .png or .jpg/.jpeg file as soon as possible to add to the event website and flyers.
