I want to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to our members and sponsors for their unwavering support for and active participation in HASC’s 2023 Annual Meeting. The theme of the event, which occurred in Palm Desert May 17 to 19, was Empower and Elevate.
Throughout the course of the meeting, we witnessed an exceptional exchange of ideas and thought-provoking discussions that truly embodied the theme. Engaging sessions and enlightening panels, led by industry experts, undoubtedly broadened our perspectives and encouraged us to explore new avenues in delivering exceptional patient care and advancing health care in Southern California.
The Annual Meeting afforded me the opportunity to personally meet with many of our hospital leaders and discuss some of the day’s most pressing issues. As the meeting is the largest health care executive conference in the state, I cherished the unique opportunity to have so many brilliant minds under one roof for two days. Our attendees even had some time to unwind and enjoy our 1920s-themed Strolling Dinner and Sponsor Exhibit honoring HASC’s 100 years of service.
We’ve received positive feedback from meeting attendees. Our events team would be pleased to hear your thoughts and, as always, will consider your suggestions for making future events even better.
Although our next Annual Meeting is almost a year away, I encourage you to mark your calendars for May 20 to 22, 2024. Next year’s event, at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, is sure to be another “can’t miss” meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!
