Health Care AI Professionals Wanted: Share Your Experience

Samuel Merritt University, Oakland, is seeking professionals to discuss their real-world experiences in managing AI deployments in any health care use case, such as population analytics, care coordination, diagnosis image processing or revenue life cycle.

Two openings are available to speak at the spring 2026 Managing AI in Healthcare course, Tuesday, March 24 and March 31, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Pacific Time. The course is part of the university’s Master of Health Administration program.

The discussion format will be conversational and virtual, and honoraria can be provided. Dan Ablett, the course professor, and co-faculty Dr. Dipu Patel, DMSc, MPAS, ABAIM, PA-C, will serve as co-panelists alongside their guest.

“We’re interested in securing small and medium-sized firms from industry with ‘real-world’ implementation use cases they’re willing to discuss to share about their journey and learning, Ablett said.

The discussion will integrate with the course through establishing foundational awareness of AI tools and their implications, performing practical use case evaluation and sampling hands-on experimentation with tools.
