Overview
Learn how to start building future leaders even before you hire them at Ready, Set, Lead! This two-part webinar with renowned expert and author Paul Falcone will empower you to 1) select candidates with the best potential and “fit,” and 2) help them develop into skilled leaders in their first year on the job.
Part 1: Hiring
This session will help you take your interviewing and candidate selection skills to the next level. You’ll learn how to hire for culture fit — whether on site, remote or hybrid — and to introduce the concepts of career and professional development in the pre-offer phase of the employment relationship.
Gen Y millennials and Gen Z zoomers identify “career and professional development” as a key priority when deciding to join or remain with an employer. By employing the “leader-as-coach” model and engaging candidates in candid discussions about their career interests and motivations, you’ll create strong bonds of trust and shared values before extending an offer. These bonds will significantly increase the likelihood of a strong cultural, performance and productivity fit.
Part 2: Leadership Strategies
In part 2, you’ll learn strategies for building individual and team muscle throughout the first year of employment and beyond. Leadership, communication, team building and collaboration are hallmarks of any manager’s brand and success profile. The workshop provides tools, resources and tips for building rapport and genuine relationships, becoming your people’s “favorite boss” and establishing a culture of trust and respect that fosters discretionary effort and self-motivation.
What makes managers excel is their ability to inspire, develop talent and turn around flagging teams by creating a safe, peaceful space for employees to do their very best work every day. This session will help you drive higher employee performance and engagement by creating strong bonds of trust, accountability and agility.
