HASC is pleased to welcome Patrick Caster and Anthony Nguyen, who recently assumed leadership of two member hospitals.
Patrick Caster has joined Memorial Hospital of Gardena (MHG), part of Pipeline Health System, as Chief Executive Officer. He comes to MHG from Dignity Health California Hospital Medical Center, where he spent five years leading all hospital operations. His tenure also included overseeing construction of a $220 million patient tower with a new emergency department. Patrick has served as an active member of the HASC Operations Council for several years.
Anthony Nguyen has joined Kindred Hospital Baldwin Park as its new Chief Executive Officer. He started with the organization in 2017 as CEO at Kindred San Gabriel Valley. Anthony began his career as a statistical analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank before working as an international investment banker in mergers and acquisitions on Wall Street. In 2007, he transitioned into health care at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and in 2012, moved to Stanford Healthcare in Palo Alto, California. Anthony is fluent in German and loves to travel. He holds a business degree from Emory University in Atlanta and an MBA in finance.
