Today, on Giving Tuesday, Cedars-Sinai and Kaiser Permanente will each match donations to Communities Lifting Communities (CLC) dollar for dollar. A nonprofit affiliate of HASC, CLC works to build partnerships between hospitals and health systems, health care plans, public health agencies, and community stakeholders to advance health equity in the HASC region.
Your donation will go three times as far in supporting CLC initiatives such as regional multi-sector collaborations with hospitals and health systems, public agencies, and community organizations addressing homelessness in LA County, behavioral health in the Inland Empire, and health care equity in Ventura County.
CLC also recently convened 20 hospitals and health systems and 34 diverse-owned businesses for its first annual Hospital Supplier Diversity Conference. With the goal of helping hospitals expand their purchasing to include diverse suppliers (minority, women, LGBTQ+, and disabled veterans), the conference built on CLC’s earlier Supplier Diversity Roundtable and Supplier Diversity Day.
