As Communities Lifting Communities (CLC) and HASC close out the year, we proudly recognize our 2025 Supplier Diversity Committee chairs, Flora Mayer, Andrew Kwok and Audrey Chang, for their steady leadership and service. We also honor Chico Manning for his continued commitment as a member of the Department of Health Care Access and Information’s Hospital Supplier Diversity Commission (HSDC).
CLC leads the hospital supplier diversity initiative in partnership with HASC, and together we recognize the immense value of engaging with local, small and diverse businesses that reflect the communities hospitals serve, supporting both economic opportunity and overall community well-being.
“It has been an honor to serve alongside such dedicated colleagues this year,” said Mayer, who previously was manager, supplier diversity, at City of Hope. “Together, we’ve strengthened partnerships that expand access and opportunity for our communities, and I look forward to continuing this important work in the future.”
Chang, who serves as project manager, supply chain administration at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, said, “Despite the many challenges we’ve faced this year, it has been inspiring to witness the resilience and growth of our partnerships. I am truly honored and excited to explore how we can continue driving meaningful progress together.”
“Serving and representing the hospital industry as a sitting commissioner on the Hospital Supplier Diversity Commission for the past two years has been an honor,” said Manning, the system vice president, enterprise supply chain, for PIH Health. “I will continue to convey the voice of the health care industry on the HSDC in 2026.”
As the CLC-HASC Supplier Diversity Committee continues into 2026, we invite supply chain professionals at HASC member hospitals to join this work. To learn more about the hospital supplier diversity initiative and committee, visit the CLC website or contact Karen Ochoa, [email protected].
