Thankful for Our Shared Commitment

As we gather with family and friends this Thanksgiving, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for the leadership, compassion and steadiness you bring to our region’s health care community.

We continue to navigate a landscape that’s far from easy. Hospitals and health systems across Southern California are working through complex challenges, and we know more uncertainty lies ahead. The coming months — and years — will require us to stay focused, adapt quickly and continue supporting one another as we care for our communities.

Even so, I remain deeply hopeful.

That hope comes from the strength of our partnership. Across the continuum — hospitals, physicians, health plans, county agencies and community organizations — we continue to show what’s possible when we collaborate. Through shared purpose and open dialogue, we’re building solutions that help ensure patients receive the care they need, when and where they need it.

As we move forward, HASC is committed to standing with you. Together, we’ll continue to advocate at the regional level to protect access to care, strengthen the workforce and support the stability of the health care system in Southern California.

This season is a reminder that gratitude isn’t just a moment, but a practice. Today, I’m especially grateful for you: for the care you provide, the sacrifices you make and the trust you place in HASC as your partner.

On behalf of our entire team, I wish you and your loved ones a safe, restful and meaningful Thanksgiving. Despite the uncertainty ahead, I’m confident that, united, our health care community will weather these storms and emerge stronger than ever.
