Communities Lifting Communities (CLC) and HASC invite you to the Birth Equity Initiative Learning Community. Part of the Diversity, Health Equity and Inclusion Roundtables, the online forums will showcase best practices from member hospitals in the HASC region.
Six roundtables will take place from Feb. 28 through Dec. 2. Use the green button to register for any or all sessions you’d like to attend.
In the sessions, we will:
- Highlight best practices in advancing birth equity from HASC member hospitals
- Enable peer-to-peer learning and space for conversation
- Discuss efforts to integrate birth equity with hospitals’ work in community health.
The first roundtable, which took place Feb. 28, focused on Maternal Mental Health Now. On April 24, Aisha Syeda, MPH, senior program manager for strategic initiatives, American Hospital Association (AHA), will discuss AHA’s Better Health for Mothers and Babies initiative resources, produced in 2023. These resources highlight hospitals and health systems that are improving maternal and child health outcomes.
