About Workforce Development

HASC Workforce Development is a multi-pronged effort to support health care workforce needs across Southern California. The initiative focuses on areas with a shortage of trained and qualified employees.
Examples include the following targeted efforts:
- College to Career Development Internship Program (CDIP)
- CLC Health Care Scholarship and Stipend Program
- Priority Workforce Job Portal
- RN Specialty Pipeline Project – in partnership with HealthImpact
- Strong Workforce Program – in partnership with California Community Colleges
